ABOUT US

Some bags are made to simply hold things.

CarryJoys is for the ones that hold a little more: a slow weekend, a handmade detail, a sunny walk, a market morning, a gift chosen with care, or an afternoon spent making something with your own hands.

Hi, I’m Mora, the founder of CarryJoys.

I have always been drawn to bags with texture: a woven handle, a crocheted flower, a braided pattern, a piece that feels warm before you even put anything inside it. These bags do not feel like objects made only for storage. They feel personal. They carry time, touch, color, patience, and the quiet beauty of handwork.

That feeling became the heart of CarryJoys.

We curate woven, crocheted, braided, hand-finished, and craft-inspired bags for small escapes and everyday rituals: weekend markets, beach walks, picnics, short trips, coffee dates, garden afternoons, and meaningful gifts.

Alongside ready-to-carry pieces, we also offer DIY kits for people who want to slow down and make something themselves. Not everyone needs to be an expert maker. We believe craft should feel welcoming, useful, and joyful, even for beginners.

Our name still says what we believe: the things you carry should bring joy into ordinary life.

But for us, joy is not only about how a bag looks.

It is about the feeling of choosing something with soul. It is about the pride of making something by hand. It is about giving a gift that feels personal. And it is about recognizing the women whose hands, time, and skill help bring these pieces to life.

CarryJoys works with a growing supply network, where craft-based production, hand-finishing, kit preparation, quality checking, and gift packaging can create flexible work opportunities for women. Many are mothers, caregivers, women returning to work, or women whose experience deserves more recognition than the modern workplace often gives them.

We do not tell this story as charity.

We believe women’s work should be seen with dignity, not pity. We believe skilled hands matter. We believe flexible work can help women rebuild rhythm, income, confidence, and a sense of place in the world.

That is why we are building The CarryJoys Craft Circle: our long-term commitment to support more women through craft-related work, from selected handmade production to finishing, packing, DIY kit preparation, and quality care.

We are still at the beginning of this journey. We will not pretend every piece is made the same way. Some CarryJoys products are ready-made, some are hand-finished, some are handmade, and some are made by you through our DIY kits. As we grow, we will keep working toward clearer materials, more thoughtful sourcing, and more transparent stories behind each collection.

CarryJoys is for small escapes and handmade moments.

For the woven tote you take to the weekend market.
For the crocheted bag that makes a simple dress feel special.
For the pouch that travels with your jewelry, lipstick, or little essentials.
For the DIY kit you open on a quiet Sunday afternoon.
For the gift that feels like someone really thought of you.
And for the women whose work helps carry this story forward.

Everyday carry, handmade joy.
